Wallbarn’s range of decking pads offer the perfect solution for deck paving by providing a secure & stable foundation on which you can lay decking. They have been designed to ensure that regular spacing is given between paving slabs & the under surface has grooves to increase the drainage levels to an appropriate outlet. This will ensure that your decking remains free from a build up of standing water.

Pipe-work, cables and unsightly services can be concealed beneath this your decking hiding such services away beneath the decking, the amount of space on the roof terrace or balcony available for the end user is increased, increasing the yield of the building footprint.

Cost Effective Solutions

Because of the ease with which they can be fitted, the decking pads are particularly cost effective as they can be quite easily fitted rather than you having to employ potentially far more expensive sub-contracting carpenters.

One of the major plus points of using our decking pads is that unlike when joists are laid onto concrete or metal blocks, by using Wallbarn support pads installers can be sure that the very important waterproof layer below has no risk of damage.

To eliminate the risk of timber joints bouncing & overloading, we strongly recommend that decking pads are placed at an absolute maximum of 600mm apart.
