Wallbarn specialise in Protecto-drain which is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) cupped drainage sheet which acts as a protection and drainage layer for waterproofed surfaces. Its specially designed cups collect water and channel it away from the surface towards an appropriate drainage system. It protects the membrane from abrasion or puncture damage, has high tearing resistance, and also helps to provide good ventilation to the building.

When Wallbarn Protecto-drain 8 is fitted to the foundation wall, it protects the membrane from being punctured during backfill as well as damage from settlement or ground salts. The air gap prevents hydrostatic pressure building up and helps to ventilate the wall. The water simply runs down the outer surface towards the drain. Wallbarn Protectodrain 8 can also be fitted to floors to act as a vapour barrier and damp proof layer.
