Wallbarn Polymeric Protecto-board is a tough, flexible polymeric board. It provides excellent resistance to ground salts and most corrosive chemicals.

It is highly versatile and comes in thicknesses of 1.5mm and 3mm. It can be used for a number of applications.

It is strong enough to withstand foot traffic and compression such as dropped materials or pallet storage; and can also prevent mechanical damage or ground movement caused by backfilling.

Because of its high strength and puncture resistance, Wallbarn Polymeric Protecto-board matches and exceeds the performance of traditional thicker boards. This provides significant cost savings, makes the material easier to handle on site, and leads to storage space reductions.
 

 

Wallbarn Polymeric Protecto-board can be used as both a temporary protection layer for site personnel on particular areas as it can be taken up and disposed of easily.

It is also used extensively as a permanent protection layer, as it will not rot or absorb significant water. It has been used successfully as an intermediate layer in inverted roofs, to protect against falling objects, pedestrian or vehicular damage,
 
 
and even to protect against concrete pour or mechanical damage during backfilling. It is particularly useful for tanking since it can be fixed vertically quite easily, and is strong enough to withstand any subsequent structural settlement.
 

Wallbarn Polymeric Protecto-board is extremely easy to use and can be cut, moulded and shaped around corners and details (such as drainage or ventilation outlets) easily using a sharp knife.
It can also be scored and folded to provide continuity at corners, angles and overhanging joints.
 

It is secured easily on the horizontal by taping the joints with single sided adhesive tape, or by spot bonding the underside with a liquid adhesive.
It can be secured on vertical surfaces using double sided tape.
