Because our rubber support pads are made from synthetic rubber instead of plastic, this means they are extremely durable & are much easier to cut & are substantially more flexible. Wallbarn’s rubber support pads have been specifically designed to ensure that regular spacing is given between paving slabs & the under surface has grooves to increase the drainage levels to an appropriate outlet. This will help to lower the amount of surface water that gathers on top.
Other qualities of Wallbarn’s rubber support pads include resistance to extremes of temperature. This ensures that they will not become brittle in cold weather & will retain all of their durability. The rubber used to produce our rubber support pads ensures that the pads give a certain amount of grip & will not slip on the surface beneath when being installed.
The tough flexible makeup of our rubber support pads also makes them useful for a variety of different materials, not just pre-cast concrete paving. They are particularly well suited for use in conjunction with Wallbarn’s range of hardwood timber decking tiles.
They have been used successfully to support timber decking placed on top of insulation boards without cutting into the surface and can even be laid directly on top of certain waterproof membranes without risk of damage.
