Structural Drainage

Structural DrainageWallbarn offer a range of top quality structural drainage solutions. Our unique Protecto-drain range of protection & drainage membranes are made from high density polyethylene (HDPE)
or polypropylene. Protecto-drain is a structural drainage solution that is used for landfills, protection of foundation walls, subterranean drainage, resistance to rising damp, soil stabilisation & green roof applications. These structural drainage products are tough, flexible membranes that have been manufactured with a cupped profile, which increases the strength & drainage capability of the material

Wallbarn offer several different types of Protecto-drain structural drainage solutions, each suited to different types of applications.

Our range of structural drainage solutions includes:

  • Protecto-Drain 20
  • Protecto-Drain 20P
  • Protecto-Drain 60P

Protecto-drain 20 offers a much simpler but often more effective way to manage & control subterranean water than many expensive systems & concepts

Protecto-drain 20P was developed because of the need for a reservoir & drainage layer in green roof construction.

Protecto-drain 60P is different to other drainage membranes available from Wallbarn since it is a rigid board made from recycled polypropylene, not HDPE. The cups are 60mm deep. With larger cups & more perforations, this membrane holds a much greater amount of moisture & has much higher drainage capacity, meaning the membrane is suitable where higher soil substrates & a much larger degree of drainage is required.

If you would like any more information regarding our range of structural drainage solutions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
