The Nationwide has released figures today indicating that UK house prices were higher year on year in October, the first annual rise for 19 months. Property prices were 2% higher in October than the same month last year but the pace of price rises has eased, going up by 0.4%. The quarter on quarter data dropped slightly from 3.8% in September to 3.4% in October.

Went to Interbuild last week, pretty poor. Off to Road Expo in Edinburgh next week, then straight to Batimat in Paris. Interesting to see what is about. Julian
