Self-Levelling Headpiece

• Special Self-Levelling / slope corrector headpieces are available for MetalPad EX range which connects securely onto the headpiece and gives a slope correction up to 5° in all directions.
• The lugged headpiece holds the tiles / slabs securely in place and finds its own natural position to create a flat upper surface.
• If the headpiece is inverted the lugs can wrap around a number of the aluminium rails available from Wallbarn.
• There are no non-metallic elements on this Slope Corrector so it complies with a Class A1 fire rating.

Paving Headpiece

• Paving Headpieces fit directly on to the MetalPad Ex Pedestal without the need for mechanical fixing.
• The lugged headpiece holds the tiles / slabs securely whilst also providing a gap for drainage between each of the tiles or paving slabs.
• The headpiece is made of galvanised steel and coated in zintec to keep it free from rust and corrosion.
• These Headpieces meet Class A fire rating
• They are available with different lug positions that make positioning tiles easier for any layout such as brickwork or stretcher bond.

Crucifix Headpiece

• Crucifix Headpieces fit directly on to the MetalPad Ex Pedestal without the need for mechanical fixing.
• The lugged headpiece holds the tiles / slabs securely whilst also providing a gap for drainage between each of the tiles or paving slabs.
• The headpiece is made of aluminium to keep it free from rust and corrosion.
• These Headpieces meet Class A fire rating
• Provides a simple and cost effective option when using the MetalPad Ex for paving

Rail Headpiece

• The Rail Headpiece fits on to the MetalPad Ex Pedestal and secured by a central screw.
• The headpiece holds all Wallbarn aluminium rails/joists to produce a total Class A Substructure
• The headpiece is made of high grade aluminium to keep it free from rust and corrosion.
• The Headpiece meet Class A fire rating

Spreader Plate

The standard base plate for the MetalPad EX has a 100mm diameter, which is sufficient for applications on hard sub-surfaces like concrete. However, when mounting pedestals directly onto softer surfaces such as insulation or waterproof membranes, an additional Spreader Plate can be used.

By adding the Spreader Plate beneath the MetalPad EX pedestal, the weight tolerance is significantly increased. The pedestal slides into the slots on the top side of the spreader plate and locks into place. The spreader plate itself has a 185mm diameter and has a smooth underside to effectively diffuse and distribute the weight.

Connectors

Connecting headpieces or aluminium rails is simple and is done by either clipping on, securing with a screw or secured with one of M8 wingnut & bolt kits.
