The above compatibility chart should be used as a guide. These outlets are designed for use with various roofing membranes ​commonly found in flat roof constructions, including those not mentioned above. However, it is the responsibility of the ​Contractor to ensure that the selected outlet is compatible with the roofing membrane in use. It is recommended that both the ​drainage outlet and the membrane are prepared properly using a suitable and compatible primer before installation.

Compatibility can vary based on the following factors:

• Manufacturer Specifications: Different manufacturers may have unique formulations for their membranes. Contractors must ​consult the membrane manufacturer’s technical data sheets or guidelines to verify that the chosen TPE, EPDM, or PVC outlet ​from Wallbarn is compatible with the specific membrane being installed.

• Installation Techniques:The integrity of the roofing system depends on proper sealing and attachment methods. Contractors ​must ensure that the adhesives, sealants and installation techniques employed are suitable for both the membrane and the ​outlet to ensure long-term performance.

• Environmental Factors: The specific conditions of the project, including exposure to UV light, temperature variations, and ​potential chemical exposure, can influence the compatibility and performance of the outlet and membrane. Contractors ​should consider these factors and consult with the membrane manufacturer where necessary.
