Circular roof outlets designed and manufactured with a perforated flange – for vastly superior bonding to the waterproofing membrane

Wallbarn supplies a full new design of circular outlet, with a perforated flange. The outer ring or flange has holes throughout the face.

Installed in a sandwich situation whilst the waterproofing membrane is still tacky (the membrane can be gently heated up to make it tacky if need be), and this which allows the liquid membrane or adhesive to ooze through the holes and provide an over-and-under bond. This ensures a much better bond than the smooth flange option
The shaft is ribbed the whole way down to improve grip when inserted into the drain pipe. The arrow shape of the rib profile encourages the force down into the hole rather, reducing the risk of the outlet connector rising up out of the hole and compromising the waterproof seal.

These connectors are most commonly used for 4 inch drainpipes, but we can supply them in a range of sizes
Sizes (measured in mm) are as follows:

H is the height of the spigot or pipe

D1 is the outer diameter of the flange or surrounding ring

D2 is the inner diameter of the pipe at the top

D3 is the inner diameter of the pipe at the bottom

D4 is the outer diameter of the pipe at the top
which needs to be smaller than the inner diamter of the HDPE drainpipe (which is often measured in imperial measurements).

 

Remember installers of these outlets will always need to insert leaf guards or gravel excluders into the moth of these connectors to prevent the pipes becoming blocked.
