DIY Pedestal Project in Scotland

The customer wanted to eliminate the large step down from his house and create a level paved surface running from the back door to a garden shed. To achieve this, the porcelain tiles needed to be raised by approximately 370mm. Wallbarn’s Balance pedestals provided the ideal solution for building a suspended paving system at varying heights. Although a DIY enthusiast, the client was new to pedestals, so he provided the dimensions and height variations to our Technical Team, who estimated the required components.

The necessary pedestals and accessories were delivered the day after ordering, and the client completed the installation himself within 48 hours. The result was a dramatic aesthetic transformation and a practical improvement—seamlessly linking two buildings with a level, step-free walkway.
