One Day. One Studio. One M-Tray® System

Looking to enhance the appearance of a newly built studio, the customer wanted a simple, low-maintenance way to cover the exposed black waterproofing. Measuring just 10m², the roof was ideal for Wallbarn’s M-Tray® modular green roof system. Chosen for its speed of installation and long-term ease of care, the sedum-filled trays were self-installed in a single day without the need for specialist tools or expertise.

The result is a living roof that instantly elevated the aesthetic of the garden while supporting biodiversity and managing rainwater runoff. We were especially pleased when the customer, Charlie, created a short video showcasing his new roof garden — a project we’re proud to share as a great example of what’s possible with M-Tray®.
