This development had an asphalt roof where an inverted waterproofing system was being laid onto a complicated balcony area.

Insulation was installed, and MegaPads were chosen because of the constant changes in level across the area.

Steps and services meant that a large range of different height supports was required. This was no problem as MegaPads have a range from 35mm up to 620mm, so identical spacings, weight tolerances and interface with the paving slabs can be achieved with MegaPads.

The MegaPads allowed the contractors easy access to adjust the heights once the slabs were laid, greatly reducing installation time. This also meant less carrying and repositioning of heavy slabs – a health and safety advantage.
