Bamboo Elegance: Sustainable Strength and Style

Bamboo Elegance decking is designed to offer long-lasting performance and refined aesthetics. With its exceptionally straight grain and knot-free structure, it resists twisting, splintering, and shearing over time, ensuring a stable and attractive finish.

Through a specialised thermo process, Bamboo Elegance becomes even harder than many tropical hardwoods. Instead of kiln-drying, the bamboo is steamed to remove moisture and sugars from the fibres. This eliminates bacteria and fungal activity, resulting in boards that are denser, drier, and far more resistant to rot than traditional hardwood options.

The bamboo fibres are pressed and bonded under heavy pressure, creating a dense, ultra-strong decking board with a specific gravity of 1,200kg/m³. This gives Bamboo Elegance superior durability against wear, weathering, and fading.

• Fire classification: Class Bfl-s1

• Biological durability: Very Durable – Class 1 (EN350 / CEN/TS 15083-2)

• Blue Stain fungal resistance: Class 0 (EN152)

• Use class: Class 4 (EN335)

With a mass density higher than most tropical hardwoods, Bamboo Elegance is ideal for both domestic and commercial decking projects, including high-footfall areas. Its sustainable origins make it the perfect choice for low environmental impact builds.

When paired with an aluminium joist terrace substructure, the system is virtually rot-proof thanks to the dense thermo-treated bamboo.
