This project involved the refurb of an existing building for conversion into flats right next to the Regent Canal. The design, which included a new extension, called for a number of green roofs.

The contractor had serious access issues on site not only for delivery but also in order to get the materials to site as it was the roof of the 4th floor and there was no crane or hoist. What they did have was a pully hoist which allowed them to lift one tray at a time.

The work took 2 days including lifting the trays onto the roof one at a time.
