    Wallbarn is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-end specialist products for flat roofing, podiums and landscaping. We seek proven and experienced Sales Managers for our portfolio of products and services.

    The Role: Responsible for selling specialist products in the roofing, waterproofing and landscaping sectors to commercial contractors, manufacturers and both independent and national buildersโ€™ merchants, as well as some architects. The role will cover both new business and account management. The successful candidate will be required to develop relationships and increase sales to existing clients.

    The Person: Senior Sales Managers with experience of office-based account management and field sales are required to promote our comprehensive portfolio of products, including:

    • Pedestal and suspension systems for paving & decking
    • decking,
    • green roofs including the M-Trayยฎ modular green roof
    • protection & drainage membranes
    • new fire safety products & systems
    • a range of new products due to be launched in Q1 of 2021

    To be successful the candidate needs to be able to sell to clients at all levels from the Director and Management level to self-builders and be able to demonstrate:

    • Must have experience selling to contractors
    • Must have experience selling through distributors
    • Experience of selling to manufacturers would be a huge advantage
    • Must have experience selling construction products
    • Roofing experience would be a huge advantage
    • Landscaping experience would be a huge advantage
    • Experience of running sales teams would be an advantage

    The candidate needs to be able to work autonomously but also within teams, be able to book their own meetings, be able to manage and develop current pipeline and build future sales through this channel.

    The role covers sales activity nationwide, but the main thrust of sales is in the South East patch.

    The role will be mainly office based in Croydon, but field sales will be expected and a degree of offsite working will occur.
