Award Winning iDecking – Again!!

Whilst we always enjoy our visits to Domotex, this year was particularly special as the iDecking picked up the prestigious Innovation@Domotex prize for the 3rd year in a row. 2017 is about to start in a rocket way for the Italian company which is taking off with great success from its start-up status and we are very proud to be the UK’s only official distributed.

Innovation@Domotex is a prize given to the most innovative products in the world of flooring. It takes place in Hannover – Germany during the most important international trade show about floors: DOMOTEX. A jury made of experts, architects, engineers declared iDecking products the most innovative for the third year in a row!

German Design Awards are among the most prestigious prizes recognised by Architects and Professionals. German Design Awards are only given to projects that truly represent pioneering contributions to the German and international landscape design.

The highly esteemed, international jury awarded iDecking Revolution decking/cladding systems presenting its unique design and revolutionary function whose destiny is to become a trend and a standard.

Why Are These Awards So Important?

It is always special to see our products recognised in this way but the increasingly competitive market means that these awards are that bit more special that previous years.

The ever growing list of wood decking producers as well as composite (wpc) decking producers are realising that its not only necessary to produce an excellent product, its necessary to improve and innovate the installation systems for their products.

What Makes iDecking Different?

EasyChange is the only system in the world which allows you the ability to remove and replace every single board of your deck using a special iDecking key. No need to utilise any drills, screws, spacers or “obsolete” clips to install the decking. iDecking Easy Change system helps ensure a quick and simple troublefree installation. EasyChange is comprised of an understructure which comes with pre-spaced special rotating nylon cams. Decking boards are then locked in place with a simple turn of the EasyKey. The system can be used both for Wood and for Composites such as DURO and ETHERNO (Carbonized Bamboo).
