CHANGES TO DELIVERY PROCEDURE AND TERMS
Dear colleague,
In light of the Corona Virus / Covid 19 pandemic, Wallbarn Ltd is implementing a number of changes to protect the safety of both our customers, our administration & warehousing staff and also protect personnel in our delivery partners.
At present, the offices and the warehouses are open and despatches are still being sent on a daily basis.
Warehouse
The Wallbarn warehouses are strictly not accessible to any third parties. Any personnel who are not Wallbarn staff are not authorised to enter the warehouses at any time. Please speak to the head office or the warehousing personnel if you require to come to the Wallbarn warehouse but do not enter any warehousing building and remain at least 2 metres from any Wallbarn personnel.
Deliveries
Wallbarn has been informed by our delivery partners that no direct contact between their staff and recipients of Wallbarn materials is to be allowed.
Therefore, Wallbarn will be adopting a NO CONTACT DELIVERY PRACTICE.
This means the receiver of the delivery will not be asked to sign the ePOD or hard copy POD document. The receiver will provide their name verbally to the delivery driver and Wallbarn will include this name on the delivery record.
NO SIGNATURES WILL BE GIVEN AS PROOF OF DELIVERY. The name of the receiver will be deemed to be proof of delivery. If the receiver fails to give their name at the point of delivery, the consignment will not be delivered and the delivery will fall under the “refused goods” process.
Wallbarn assumes that all customers accept these Terms and procedures and agrees to them. Customers who do not wish to agree to these new Terms should not order materials from Wallbarn at this time.
We will keep our customers and stakeholders informed of any changes to our service as quickly as we can.
If you need any further clarification please contact us.
Yours truly,
Julian Thurbin
Director
