    Ensuring a completely level surface

Levelling shims alter the level by very tiny amounts in order to get a solid, flat paving surface where the slab thickness alters slightly from one flag to another, because of irregularities in the deck surface beneath, or where an unexpected door threshold occurs.

Wallbarn shims are manufactured from strong HDPE and have been designed to fit on top of all fixed height support pads and onto Universal adjustable pedestals to make up those small differences in the level.

To avoid one of the slabs rocking, the installer can simply place a levelling shim onto the support pad to make up the difference. Multiple shims can be stacked up to add more height in a certain area.

All shims can be snapped apart into quarters or half shape, where only one corner needs extra support. This is often required where there is a tolerance between each slab or flag and needs bringing up to the level of the others.

They are a simple and cost effective way to align the upper surface of your paving scheme.

We have created a number of helpful How To videos providing guidance on unpacking, assembling and installing our pedestals and accessories.
