Wallbarn Adjustable Plastic Paving Support Pads are the latest development in paving for modern roof design.
This type of paving support pad is becoming increasingly popular because “flat” roofs are being constructed with falls in order to combat some of the traditional problems developers have had with standing water on flat roofs in the past.

Unlike stackable support pads, which can only be altered in height by doubling, tripling in size, or by adding levelling shims (often a frustrating and time consuming operation) Wallbarn Adjustable Plastic Paving Support Pads are designed to be rotated at the head so that the height can be very finely adjusted, to take into account small, continuous and irregular differences in the levels of a particular area.

The screw and nut fixing are joined together by a simple twist, which then sit neatly into a “collar” socket within the base plate. The head bracket fits onto the screw and nut fixing through a square notch, and the whole unit holds together tightly and strongly.Each support pad can be manually adjusted to a range of up to 35mm.Of course if uniform level is required, the screw and nut can be “locked” into a fixed height, or the base plate can be fixed to the head alone.These units are extremely tough with a weight tolerance of up to 400kg each. Because the 208mm base plate has such a large area, there is no risk of point loading which can happen with many other types of paving support pad
The units themselves – with uniform base and head plates – range from 25mm to 220mm, so a very large area of roof can be paved using the same type of equipment.
Corners and end of runs can be easily accommodated by simply removing the positioning lugs and sliding the whole support unit under the slab.
